Nazca Lines Tour from Ica
The half-day Nazca Lines tour from Ica is the perfect option for travelers who want to see the world-famous geoglyphs without sacrificing an entire day of their itinerary. This travel experience in Peru is specially designed for visitors staying in Ica or Huacachina who want to make the most of their trip by combining history with other activities such as visiting local vineyards or enjoying a dune buggy ride in the desert.
Located in the arid plains of southern Peru, the Nazca Lines are a series of massive geoglyphs created by the Nazca civilization more than 1,500 years ago. While many tours in Peru require long travel times, our express service offers the perfect solution. On this tour, you will have the opportunity to admire iconic figures such as the Hummingbird, the Monkey, and the Astronaut from a privileged aerial perspective.
ITINERARY
Your adventure begins early with a direct pickup from your hotel. We use modern, air-conditioned vehicles to navigate the Pan-American Highway. This 2.5-hour drive south takes you through the stunning ocher landscapes of the coastal desert, passing through the Palpa Valley.
Upon arrival at the Maria Reiche Aerodrome in Nazca, we handle the check-in and airport tax payments. You will be weighed for aircraft balance and receive a professional briefing. Here, you’ll see the flight map and learn the best techniques for spotting the lines against the desert floor.
The highlight of your guided tours in Peru. You will board a high-wing aircraft designed for observation. For 35 minutes, the pilot will maneuver over the Monkey, the Spider, the Condor, and the mysterious Astronaut. You will feel the adrenaline of flying low over the world's largest open-air museum.
