Ica City Tour & Huacachina Oasis
The Ica City Tour is the perfect experience to discover the culture, traditions, and most representative landscapes of Ica. During this tour, you will visit religious monuments, taste traditional sweets, discover local legends in the mysterious town of Cachiche, and explore the famous vineyards where the country's best wines and piscos are produced.
The adventure culminates at the impressive Huacachina Oasis, surrounded by massive dunes, where you will live an adrenaline-filled experience riding dune buggies and sandboarding right in the middle of the desert.
ITINERARY
Our experience begins with a pickup from your hotel or the bus station in Ica to start a journey through the city's main attractions. We will visit the Main Square (Plaza de Armas) and the emblematic Sanctuary of the Lord of Luren, one of the most important temples in southern Peru. Next, we will visit a traditional sweet shop to taste artisanal tejas and chocotejas.
We will then continue to the mystical town of Cachiche, famous for its folklore and the enigmatic 7-Headed Palm Tree. Afterward, we will visit the El Arrabal winery, where you will learn about the production of wines and piscos—tasting included!—and have some free time to enjoy lunch among the vineyards.
In the afternoon, we will head to the Huacachina Oasis for a thrilling dune buggy and sandboarding adventure across the spectacular desert dunes before returning to your hotel.
