On our Traditional Sacred Valley Tour, you will visit Chinchero, a town full of textile tradition and cultural heritage; Pisac, with its majestic terraces and colorful market; and Ollantaytambo, a living fortress that preserves the essence of Inca engineering. Each stop is a window into the legacy of ancient Peruvians and the Andean life that still thrives in these places.
This tour is ideal for those who wish to connect with Inca heritage and enjoy landscapes that dazzle at every turn. With the Traditional Sacred Valley Tour, you will live an unforgettable experience, exploring picturesque villages, artisan markets, fertile fields, and the cultural richness that remains in the heart of the Andes.
The experience begins with pick-up from your hotel between 7:30 and 8:00 a.m., heading towards the charming town of Pisac, located about 40 minutes from Cusco. There, we will explore its impressive archaeological site, famous for its terraces and panoramic views, and visit the traditional artisan market, where you can admire and purchase handmade products by local artisans.
We will continue to Urubamba, a quiet valley surrounded by mountains, where we will enjoy a comforting lunch before departing for our next destination: Ollantaytambo. This site stands out for its majestic Inca terraces leading to the imposing Sun Temple, a masterpiece of Quechua engineering. Here, we will learn more about ancient construction techniques while walking through an authentic Inca settlement.
To end the day, we will take an alternate route to Chinchero, a picturesque Andean village known for its textile art and colonial church built on Inca foundations. We will visit its 17th-century temple, adorned with valuable paintings, sculptures, and altars that tell the history of this sacred place.
After the visit, we will return to Cusco, dropping you off at your hotel door to rest after a day full of history, culture, and unforgettable landscapes.
