The Maras & Moray ATV Tour is the perfect combination of adventure and discovery. Ride through Andean trails surrounded by mountains, traditional villages, and unique landscapes while enjoying the thrill of driving your own Quad Bike (ATV).
During the tour, you will visit the surprising Maras Salt Mines, a set of over 3,000 salt pools used since Inca times. Then, you will discover Moray, an impressive Inca agricultural laboratory made up of circular terraces, where engineering and ancestral wisdom meet in a fascinating landscape. This tour allows you to experience the adrenaline of adventure along with the cultural richness of the Sacred Valley.
Start your day with high energy! We will pick you up from your hotel at 8:00 a.m. to begin our journey to the community of Cruzpata, the starting point of our adventure on wheels.
Upon arrival at our ATV base in Cruzpata, you will receive a safety briefing and a guided practice session to familiarize yourself with the vehicle. Don't worry if it's your first time! Our team will be with you every step of the way.
Once ready, we begin our ride through rural roads surrounded by spectacular scenery, farmlands, and Andean mountains. Our first destination: the enigmatic archaeological complex of Moray, famous for its circular terraces believed to be an Inca agricultural laboratory.
After this visit, we get back on our ATVs and head towards another amazing spot: the Maras Salt Mines. This landscape of over 3,000 salt pools is a photographer's dream.
Finally, we return on our ATVs to the base in Cruzpata. From there, our private transport will take you back to Cusco, ending the day with a perfect mix of adventure, history, and memories that will last a lifetime.

Yes, it is very safe. The route takes you along open dirt roads and through agricultural landscapes. Helmets and gloves are provided, and you are always accompanied by an expert ATV guide.
No. For conservation reasons, the ATVs are parked outside the archaeological sites. We enter on foot to visit Moray and the Salt Mines (Salineras) with the guide offering an explanation.
Both times are good, but the mornings usually offer clearer, crisper weather, which is ideal for taking photos at the Salt Mines.
