Booking and Cancellation Policy

Providing clear and transparent information regarding our booking and cancellation policies is an absolute priority at Aura Andina Travel S.A.C. We want our clients to make informed decisions and plan their trips with total confidence.

Booking Policies

Reservations must be made well in advance. We recommend booking at least 30 days prior to your arrival date to ensure we can secure the necessary tours, hotels, and services for a pleasant stay in our country. Only reservations made in writing and/or through our website will be accepted.

Payments

  • Your reservation will be confirmed upon receipt of a minimum deposit (50%) of the total amount per person. The remaining balance must be paid in full 7 days prior to your arrival, or as specifically agreed upon with our agents.
  • Reservations made after the deadline may be subject to changes under the strict guidance of the agent.
  • Please note that online reservations paid through our website are subject to additional transaction fees from the issuing and receiving banks, depending on the chosen payment method.
  • Online reservations made with CREDIT and DEBIT CARDS are completely secure.

Payment Options

  • Bank Transfer: BBVA Bank, Banco de Crédito del Perú.
  • Western Union Payment: With Western Union, you can send and receive money quickly between agents and offices worldwide. Please ensure you request the "To Send Money" form and send the funds in US Dollars.
  • Booking Form: With this service, you can make payments directly on our website using the IziPay platform.

Rates

  • All rates are expressed in US Dollars and are subject to change without prior notice; however, for fully paid reservations, the initial agreed price is guaranteed.
  • Rates are per person.

Cancellations

Based on our experience, a certain percentage of reservations are cancelled by the client prior to the trip due to unforeseen circumstances, such as flight delays, social conflicts (strikes or unrest), bad weather, road blockages, landslides, or any other inconvenience caused by third parties.Service cancellation penalties apply based on the notification date, as detailed below:
  • 30 days or more prior to the tour start date: 30% of the deposit is non-refundable.
  • 25 to 16 days prior to the tour start date: 50% of the deposit is non-refundable.
  • 15 to 07 days prior to the tour start date: 80% of the deposit is non-refundable.
  • 06 to 0 days prior to the tour start date: 100% of the deposit is non-refundable.
Please understand that these penalties are necessary because specific services—such as flight tickets, train tickets, Machu Picchu entrance fees, the Inca Trail, and hotels—are purchased and booked in advance, and many of them are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.

No-Show Policy

We will retain the total amount and assume no liability for the client's failure to appear due to flight delays or cancellations. The company is not liable for damage to or loss of luggage, accidents, unforeseen expenses, inevitable delays, services provided by third parties, or direct causes beyond our control. In the unfortunate event of a no-show due to unforeseen causes, the company will provide a certificate to the client to assist with their insurance claim.

Important Note

In the event that the client abandons the tour for any reason, any extra expenses are the client's responsibility, and the company will not be liable for any refunds.
